How to Keep up With Your New Year Resolutions!
I highly recommend a New Year’s Resolution to get outside and walk more. Besides the vitamin D from the sunshine, walking and being outdoors is a biological need like protein in your diet. It aids in lymph flow, respiratory health, and regulates your parasympathetic system. Trying to sneak in more time outside with those old tricks like parking in the farthest parking spot from the door, sitting outside (or even near a window), and taking short walks whenever you have a break at work are helpful. Being a working mom, I actually think it’s more realistic for me to break up short outdoor walks throughout the day than take one big long walk. And it all counts!
